SMEC in Sydney is seeking a recent Graduate Environmental Scientist/Engineer with an interest in Contaminated Land to join our NSW team. You will conduct fieldwork and contribute to contaminated land assessments on diverse projects.

Qualifications

• Tertiary education in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or Hydrogeology.
• Early career experience in contaminated land is highly regarded.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for multidisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Fieldwork including collecting soil, water and ground gas samples from sites across Sydney and regional NSW.
• Preparing contaminated land assessments including data management and reporting.
• Supporting a variety of multi-disciplinary projects and stakeholder engagement.
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
