Job summary

The City of Gold Coast is offering a 12-month Capital Contracts Graduate Academy commencing February 2027. This full-time fixed-term program is designed to unlock your potential and provide hands-on experience in contract management, procurement and governance on major infrastructure projects.

You will work with experienced contract managers and deliver real projects that benefit the Gold Coast community, supported by coaching, mentoring and a cohort of peers throughout the program.

Qualifications

• Recognised bachelor’s degree or postgraduate qualification completed within the last two years.
• Applicants must have full working rights in Australia for the duration of the program.
• Degrees in Business, Commerce, Construction Management, Project Management, Property Economics or Engineering (Civil) are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gaining hands-on experience in contract management, procurement and governance.
• Collaborate with contract managers, commercial specialists and delivery partners on major projects.
• Develop professional skills through coaching and on-the-job learning within the Graduate Academy.
