Job summary

The City of Gold Coast offers a 12-month Graduate Academy, starting February 2027, designed to unlock potential and provide hands-on experience across projects that shape our City. This full-time fixed-term role supports the 2032 Games Coordination team with development and real-world experience.

Ideal candidates have a recognised degree, strong communication skills and a drive to learn, contribute and progress while building industry connections and professional accreditation pathways.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification completed at a tertiary institution.
• Applicants must have full working rights in Australia for the duration of the program.
• Graduates must be available to commence in February 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist the planning, development and delivery of effective communication, project management and engagement initiatives for the 2032 Games Coordination team.
• Collaborate with internal business units and external partners such as the Brisbane 2032 Organising Committee and Queensland Government.
• Demonstrate creativity, strong organisation and excellent communication to support stakeholder engagement.
• Participate in a tailored development program and Graduate Academy experiences to learn and grow.
