Crusoe College in the Bendigo region is seeking graduates to join its teaching staff. The role focuses on developing classroom practice with structured guidance from senior teachers, delivering programs to Year 7–10 students and contributing to school priorities.

Graduates will participate in induction, mentoring and professional development, with responsibilities spanning lesson delivery, planning and assessment across core subjects and co-curricular involvement within a Values-driven school

Qualificações

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum with the capacity to incorporate literacy and numeracy skills.
• Demonstrated capacity to implement high impact teaching strategies, guided by how students learn, and evaluate impact of programs on growth.
• Demonstrated capacity to monitor and assess student learning using data and provide feedback to students and parents.

Responsabilidades

• Planning and implementing a range of teaching programs or courses of study.
• Teaching an area of the curriculum to a year level.
• Monitoring, evaluating and reporting student progress in key learning areas.
• Implementing strategies to achieve targets related to student learning outcomes.
• Maintaining records of class attendance and student progress.
• Assisting and participating in policy development and school priorities.
• Working with a mentor to participate in professional development planning and reflection.
