Job summary

Indigenous Business Growth (IBG) is recruiting for a Graduate - Civils position on behalf of a major SE Queensland project. Based in Maroochydore, you will help develop practical civil-construction capability while supporting engineering, quality and production activities across multiple fronts.

You will have recently completed a civil/construction engineering degree and may have site experience. Relocation packages are available and Australian experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Recently completed or near-completed bachelor's degree in civil or construction engineering.
• Vacation or site experience desirable.
• Current construction induction card or ability to obtain before mobilisation.

Responsibilities

• Assist with work packs, site diaries, quantity tracking, inspections, red-lines and completion records
• Review drawings and specifications and raise questions through the supervising engineer
• Support survey, materials, permits, service investigations and quality hold points
• Participate in pre-starts, risk reviews and field observations
• Complete agreed rotations, training and competency objectives

A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex rail, station and civil works. Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Graduate - Civils to develop practical civil-construction capability while supporting engineering, quality and production activities across multiple work fronts.

Key Responsibilities
