Job summary

Ferrycarrig Construction Pty in Sydney is seeking a motivated Graduate Civil Engineer to join our team on a major civil infrastructure project. Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Practical experience on civil construction projects through university placements, internships or previous employment.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, analytical thinker with initiative.
• Ability to work collaboratively and take ownership.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the day-to-day coordination and delivery of civil construction projects.
• Working closely with Site Supervisors to monitor construction activities and project progress.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, materials and site resources.
• Reviewing construction drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
• Assisting with the preparation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality records and other project documentation.
• Conducting site inspections and monitoring construction quality and compliance.
• Preparing daily site reports, progress updates and project records.
• Assisting with procurement activities and material ordering.
• Supporting the development and monitoring of construction programmes and project schedules.
• Building strong working relationships with colleagues, subcontractors and client representatives.
• Ensuring all works are undertaken in accordance with project specifications, safety requirements and relevant Australian Standards.
