Job summary

Convil Group, a Sydney-based civil construction company, is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer or final-year Civil Engineering student to join our team in Sydney, NSW. You will work with Project Engineers, Site Engineers and Project Managers, gaining hands-on experience in planning, site coordination, QA, safety and documentation.

The role provides exposure to live civil projects across Sydney with travel to project sites as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or final-year student in Civil Engineering.
Genuine interest in civil construction and site-based project delivery.
Willing to work across site and office environments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
Willing to learn and take on increasing responsibility.
Comfortable working as part of a project and site team.
Hold a current Australian driver’s licence.
Have Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

Assist with day-to-day delivery and coordination of civil construction projects.
Assist Project and Site Engineers with site activities and planning.
Monitor construction progress and coordinate on-site activities.
Review drawings, specifications and project requirements.
Assist with procurement of materials and coordination of suppliers.
Assist with subcontractor coordination and monitoring of works.
Prepare and maintain QA documentation, ITPs and project records.
Support RFIs, site records and progress reporting.
