RSM Australia is seeking graduates for the Adelaide Audit & Assurance team to learn fundamental audit skills and begin a career in accounting. This role targets candidates who have recently completed or will complete their studies by the end of 2026.

You will develop basic audit proficiency, gain familiarity with Accounting Standards, and experience electronic audit tools while working both autonomously and as part of a team in a supportive, values-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Essential business/commerce degree with accounting major.
• Recent graduates or those scheduled to complete by end of 2026 are encouraged.
• Ambitious candidates should be pursuing relevant professional certification.

Responsabilités

• Develop a basic ability to apply fundamental audit skills in the RSM audit process.
• Develop a basic understanding of Accounting and Audit Standards.
• Develop a working knowledge of fundamental electronic audit tools.
• Undertakes audit testing as directed and in line with RSM policies.
• Complete allocated tasks as instructed; maintain records.

About the role:

Audit & Assurance is at the heart of RSM's practice. The Adelaide Audit & Assurance division are looking to bring graduates into their team who are capable of learning fundamental skills and are eager to build a career in Audit. This role is aimed at those who have recently completed or are scheduled to complete their studies by the end of 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop a basic ability to apply fundamental audit skills as incorporated in the RSM audit process;
• Develop a basic understanding of Accounting and Audit Standards;
• Develop a working knowledge of the fundamental electronic audit tools;
• Understands and performs audit testing as directed and in accordance with RSM policies and procedures;
• Complete allocated tasks in accordance with directions given; and
• Maintains personal documentation (training records, time sheets, expenses).

About you:

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Essential
• Business / Commerce degree with Accounting Major
• Already completed studies or scheduled to complete by end of 2026
• Begin undertaking further studies to attain relevant approved professional certification or post graduate studies within 12 months of commencement of role.
