Job summary

AJH+ is seeking a motivated architect to contribute to a varied portfolio across residential, housing, mixed-use, and hospitality projects. You will work closely with our Director and project leaders from feasibility through delivery, developing your skills and understanding of why design decisions matter.

The role focuses on design development, documentation, and coordination with consultants, with increasing responsibility as you grow.

Qualifications

• Masters of Architecture completed in Australia.
• Two years of full-time professional experience in architectural practice in Australia.
• Excellent knowledge of Autodesk Revit and documentation practices.
• Strong design sensibility with attention to detail and material understanding.
• Clear communication and willingness to contribute ideas.
• Initiative, reliability and ability to manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Design development, documentation and project delivery.

Working alongside our Director and project leaders, you'll contribute to a varied portfolio of residential, housing, mixed-use, affordable housing, Seniors Housing, adaptive reuse, commercial and hospitality projects. You'll develop your skills across multiple stages of practice, from feasibility and concept through approvals, construction documentation and delivery. Key responsibilities

About you

A completed Masters of Architecture at Australian University

Minimum two years' full-time professional experience in architectural practice in Australia

Very good working knowledge of Autodesk Revit

Good design sensibility, attention to detail and an interest in how buildings come together

Clear communication and a willingness to contribute ideas

Initiative, reliability and the ability to manage priorities

A positive, collaborative attitude and genuine ambition to develop your career

Unrestricted working rights in Australia

Experience across residential, mixed-use, commercial, hospitality or adaptive reuse is valued
