Job summary

BlueRock is inviting final-year or recent graduates to join our Melbourne Graduate Accounting Program. This full-time permanent role starts in early January 2027 and offers a hands-on start in a growing firm that values people as much as numbers.

You will prepare financial statements and income tax returns for small business clients, support directors with modelling and planning, and liaise with the ATO while meeting clients and learning across BlueRock's advisory teams.

Qualifications

• Final year or recent graduate of Accounting looking to start a career in a growing firm.
• Willingness to undertake further Accounting qualifications such as CA.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude with great ambition.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements (BASs, IAS, FBT Returns) and income tax returns for small business clients (companies, trusts, partnerships).
• Support Directors with financial modelling, tax planning, and consulting projects.
• Review taxation notices and prepare correspondence on behalf of clients.
• Liaise with the ATO.
• Attend client meetings with your team and participate in learning and development sessions.
• Collaborate with other BlueRock teams to identify opportunities.
