Job summary

BlueRock in Melbourne is seeking final-year or recently graduated Accounting students to join our Graduate Accountants program, starting January 2027. The role is full-time and based in our CBD Melbourne office with a culture that values people.

As an entrepreneurial, multi-disciplinary firm, BlueRock focuses on advisory solutions, tax accounting, and client partnerships. You will work with Directors and learn through mentoring, with opportunities for growth and professional qualifications like

Qualifications

• Final year of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a similar discipline.
• Desire to undertake CA or further accounting qualifications.
• Enthusiastic and positive attitude with great ambition.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements (BASs, IAS, FBT Returns) and income tax returns for small business clients (companies, trusts, partnerships).
• Support Directors with financial modelling, tax planning and consulting projects.
• Review taxation notices and prepare correspondence for clients.
• Liaise with the ATO.
• Attend client meetings with your team and participate in learning sessions.
• Collaborate with other BlueRock teams to identify opportunities.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
