Job summary

Darkwave Consulting in Melbourne is seeking a junior accounting professional to support taxation, accounting and business services for a diverse client base. Reporting to the Partners, you will build your professional skills while delivering accurate work and asking pertinent questions as needed.

Suitable for someone starting their career in public practice or with 1-2 years experience, with a high level of computer literacy and familiarity with Xero preferred.

Job description

We are a Chartered Accounting Firm in the inner suburbs of Melbourne, with a diverse and specialised client base.

Reporting to the Partners, the successful applicant will be provided the opportunity to work on a broad range of clients, assisting them with their Taxation, Accounting and Business Services requirements, whilst starting to develop their own Professional Skills and Experience.

Qualities essential for this role are an ability to think clearly and logically, be organised, and well-presented.

The ability to listen to instructions, ask pertinent questions, and carry out tasks as required in a practical and timely manner is essential in this role.

A high level of computer skill will be a necessity. Previous experience with Xero accounting softwarewould be preferable.
