Job summary

Super Accounting Pty Ltd in Cairns, QLD, is seeking a motivated Graduate Accountant who has recently completed or is about to finish their accounting degree. You will assist with preparing financial statements, tax returns, and compliance documentation for a range of clients under supervision.

This full-time, on-site role offers training to grow professionally, exposure to modern accounting software, and opportunities to develop advisory and compliance skills while working with a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification (or near completion) in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline
• Foundational knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation concepts
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and accounting software; ability to learn new digital tools quickly
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and sound numerical and analytical skills
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and client-focused manner
• Ability to work effectively in a team, accept feedback, and manage time and priorities in a busy environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development; eligibility or interest in pursuing CA or CPA accreditation is an advantage
• Prior internship or work experience in an accounting or business environment is beneficial but not essential
