Job summary

RSM Australia is seeking a graduate to join the Transactions team in Sydney Corporate Finance in 2026. The role welcomes graduates who have completed or will complete by end of 2026.

You will work on due diligence, advisory and reporting engagements for ASX/NSX listings, cross-border transactions and vendor due diligence across various sectors, building a foundation in corporate finance within a global network.

Qualifications

• Business/Commerce/Finance degree with accounting major completed or due by end of 2026.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commercial acumen.

Responsibilities

• Review accountants' reports for ASX/NSX listings and reporting engagements for UK AIM listings.
• Provide advice on buy/sell side transactions across diverse industries.
• Negotiate working capital and net debt with vendors and clients.
• Prepare acquisition due diligence reports for strategic/financial buyers.
• Prepare vendor due diligence reports across sectors.
• Provide SPA advisory for corporate transactions (locked box and completion accounts).
• Assist with pre-lend due diligence for bank financing.
• Support lead advisory engagements, including information memorandum preparation and data room management.

About the role:

Start your career in Corporate Finance - the Transactions team within RSM’s Sydney Corporate Finance division is looking for graduates able to commence in 2026.

This role is open to graduates who have completed their studies as well as those scheduled to complete by the end of 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

• Investigating accountant’s reports for ASX and NSX listings of both Australian and foreign companies, and reporting accountant engagements for UK listings on AIM.
• Provision of advice in relation to buy and sell side transactions across a diverse range of industries and markets.
• Working capital and net debt negotiation with vendors and our clients.
• Acquisition due diligence reports for strategic and financial buyers across a wide range of industry sectors.
• Vendor due diligence reports in connection with transactions, across a wide range of industry sectors.
• Provision of SPA Advisory in relation to corporate transactions (locked box and completion accounts).
• Pre lend due diligence in connection with bank financing.
• Assistance with lead advisory engagements, including information memorandum preparation, data room management & stakeholder management.

About you:

Education Requirements

• Business / Commerce/finance degree with Accounting Major - completed studies or scheduled to complete end of 2026
