Job summary

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting experience in a professional services or corporate environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.

• Ability to work both autonomously and with a team in a collaborative setting.
• Pursuit or completion of CA or equivalent qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards.
• Apply knowledge of client, firm and industry trends and current issues.
• Prepare clear, well-structured work papers evidencing work performed.
• Review financial statements and management accounts, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Identify and assist in resolving accounting issues.
• Apply basic tax compliance procedures.

Education

Business or Commerce degree with an accounting major

CA or equivalent qualification (commenced or intention to commence)

1–3 years’ experience in a similar accounting role
