Shire of East Pilbara invites applications for a Grader & Plant Operator - Marble Bar on a 14/7 roster. The role involves operating heavy plant and irrigation maintenance in an isolated outdoor environment, with a base salary up to 82,045 AUD per year.

Applicants must hold WA C and MR or HR licences, work well in a small team and comply with Work Health and Safety requirements. The position offers housing subsidies and parental leave benefits from the Shire.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of heavy plant and equipment operation.
• Awareness of Work Health & Safety requirements in isolated outdoor environments.
• Ability to use maintenance plant, tools and equipment.
• Capable of teamwork in a small, supervised setting.
• Current WA C and MR or HR driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Operate graders and other heavy equipment as required.
• Adhere to WHS policies and safety standards on site.
• Utilise maintenance plants, tools and equipment effectively.
• Collaborate with team in isolated conditions to meet objectives.
