Job summary

R Con Civil is seeking an experienced Grader Operator to expertly run a CAT M Series grader on diverse civil projects across the ACT and NSW regions, with occasional South Coast work. The role requires flexibility to operate other plant and a strong commitment to safety and quality.

You will read plans, grade to exact levels, and contribute to roadworks, earthworks, subdivisions, and major infrastructure works. A driver’s licence and relevant tickets are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum experience operating CAT M Series graders in civil construction.
• Ability to read plans and work to levels and specifications.
• Willingness to operate other civil plant as required on various projects.
• Current driver’s licence and relevant plant tickets/competencies.

Grader Operator / Multi-Skilled Plant Operator

R Con Civil is a growing, family-owned civil construction company operating across the ACT and surrounding NSW regions, with occasional projects along the South Coast and further afield.

We are looking for an experienced Grader Operator who is highly competent operating a CAT M Series grader and is also willing to jump on a range of other machinery when required.

About the role

Your primary role will be operating a CAT M Series motor grader across a variety of civil construction projects. You will work on roadworks, earthworks, subdivisions, maintenance and major infrastructure works. You will be confident with detailed grading, roadworks, trimming and finishing, while also being capable and willing to operate other plant when required.

Key responsibilities

Operate CAT M Series Motor Grader as primary machine

Operate dozer, excavator, and other civil construction machinery when required

Perform detailed grading, roadworks, trimming and finishing

Read plans and work to levels and specifications

Work on a variety of projects across the ACT and NSW regions

About you

Strong experience operating CAT M Series graders

Proven experience in civil construction and detailed grading

Experience operating other civil plant

Ability to read plans and work to levels and specifications

Strong attention to detail and pride in your work

Strong work ethic and positive attitude

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to quality and safety

Willingness to travel for occasional out-of-town projects

Current driver's licence

Relevant plant tickets and experience
