Job summary

Synergie is seeking an HR Truck Driver (Front & Hook Lift) for a leading waste and recycling services organisation located in Emerald. Monday to Friday shift 5:00am–1:00pm with overtime opportunities and weekly pay. This temp-to-perm role offers strong support and a pathway to permanency.

You will operate Front Lift and Hook Lift vehicles, perform daily checks, deliver to facilities, and ensure safe loading/unloading while maintaining professional client interactions.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unrestricted HR Licence (AUS) or Class 4 (NZ).
• Clean driving record with experience operating heavy vehicles.
• Willing to work rostered weekend shifts when required.
• Have full working rights in Australia.

• Operate HR collection vehicles including Front Lift and Hook Lift systems.
• Complete daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Manage safe loading/unloading procedures and interact professionally with clients.

What you will be required to do:

• Operate HR collection vehicles including Front Lift and Hook Lift systems
• Complete daily pre-start checks and basic maintenance on vehicles and equipment
• Deliver loads to nominated recycling and disposal facilities
• Manage safe loading/unloading procedures and interact professionally with clients
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, compliant work environment

To be successful in this role you will:

• Hold an Unrestricted HR Licence (AUS) or Class 4 (NZ) as a minimum
• Have a clean driving record and experience operating heavy vehicles
• Be confident multi-tasking and manually operating truck controls
• Be willing to work some rostered weekend shifts when required
• Have full working rights in Australia
• Have reliable transport to get to work on time
• Demonstrate a strong safety mindset and commitment to Zero Harm

Required PPE: Long sleeve shirt, long drill pants, high-vis, and steel-capped boots.
