Job summary

National Workforce in Victoria is seeking an experienced Grab Forklift Driver with machine operating experience to join our production team in Truganina. This is a temporary assignment with full-time hours, offering day shifts and on-site work.

You will safely handle paper reels, supply materials to the corrugator, and assist with machine operating duties as required. Full training will be provided for the right candidate, with immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Previous Grab Forklift experience preferred.
• Ability to operate equipment safely with attention to procedures.
• Physically fit with manual handling capability.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Grab Forklift Driver with previous machine operating experience to join our production team. You will be responsible for safely handling paper reels and supplying materials to the corrugator, while also assisting with machine operating duties as required.

Duties include:

• Operating a forklift with a grab attachment.
• Handling, unloading and storing paper reels.
• Supplying paper reels to the corrugator.
• Safely positioning and moving reels around the production area.
• Assisting with machine operating and production duties.
• Following production schedules and safety procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and efficient work area.
• Manual handling and lifting of materials up to 22kg.

Previous Grab Forklift experience is highly regarded, and full training will be provided to the right candidate.

• Previous machine operating or production experience.
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling.
• Reliable, safety-focused and willing to learn.
• Available to commence immediately.
