Job summary

UpperGround by Hudson is seeking an AO6 Business Process Analyst in Brisbane on an initial contract until 31/12/2026. The role focuses on providing expert recommendations for frontline process improvements within the Frontline Learning and Operational Team, with a hybrid WFH option (2 days per week) and a 25% casual loading as part of the pay package.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in business analysis, leading requirements gathering, process mapping and documenting business requirements.
• Demonstrated stakeholder engagement to influence outcomes across diverse groups.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills with data profiling, cleansing and transformation.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to present complex information clearly.
• Experience as a Business Analyst in a large complex Queensland Government environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Analyse operational needs and frontline staff requirements to identify the most effective business process improvements and translate these into clear and actionable documentation.
• Support staff and stakeholders in articulating operating challenges and service delivery needs with alignment to priorities.
• Provide practical advice on process improvements, tools and strategies to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
• Identify and recommend process improvement options aligned with departmental and whole-of-Government policies and frameworks.
• Use strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with team members and stakeholders to foster collaboration.
