Job summary

Allianz Australia is hiring a Governance Analyst for the Personal Injury and Commercial Division in Sydney, NSW, to integrate regulatory requirements and oversee governance activities. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to remediate risk and ensure compliance across the division.

The role involves conducting reviews, supervising monitoring activities, and coordinating with agencies on content compliance and project calendars in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Entry level governance role.
• Experience in hands-on Operations, Technical or Claims within general insurance or financial services is highly regarded.
• Data analysis experience is highly regarded.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Ensure policies and regulatory requirements are integrated into the Personal Injury and Commercial Division.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to remediate risk & compliance matters.
• Conduct reviews to ensure the division operates within defined guard rails.
• Execute and record supervision and monitoring activities with SME teams.
• Review public facing material with agencies through the document compliance process.
• Manage small projects and coordinate calendars of projects and initiatives.

About The Role

• Ensure Allianz policies and regulatory requirements are integrated into the Personal Injury and Commercial Division through regular engagement and governance activities.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure identified risk & compliance matters are remediated.
• Conduct reviews and deep dives to ensure the PIC division, including agencies, are operating within defined guard rails.
• Execute and record supervision and monitoring activities, and partner with subject matter experts and stakeholder teams for collaborative documentation.
• Work with the agencies to ensure all public facing material is reviewed and approved via the document compliance process.
• Take responsibility for small projects and initiatives, review agency websites for content compliance, and support the internal and external calendar of projects and initiatives.

About You

• Entry level governance role.
• Previous experience in a hands-on Operations, Technical or Claims role within general insurance or financial services is highly regarded.
• Previous data analysis experience highly regarded.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced ambiguous environment with multiple stakeholders
• Excellent relationship development and stakeholder management capability.
• Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes.
• Understanding of industry practices and governing legislation.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with audiences at all levels with clarity, impact, and influence.
• A passion for leveraging emerging technologies to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
