Job summary

WorkPac is seeking a Quarry Worker / Multi Skilled Operator for our client in Googong, NSW. The role involves daily pre-start inspections, identifying faults, and operating front-end loaders, dump trucks, watercarts, and excavators within a busy quarry environment.

You will contribute to general quarry labouring, uphold safety standards, and maintain a clean, safe site. Monday to Friday day shift with Saturdays available, penalties apply to hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Previous quarry or similar industry experience.
• Experience operating front-end loaders.
• Dump truck, watercart and excavator experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily pre-start inspections on HME plant and equipment.
• Identify and report machine faults and maintenance issues.
• General quarry labouring, including hosing and shovelling.
• Operate front-end loaders, dump trucks and watercarts.
• Operate excavators and support general quarry activities.

Quarry Worker / Multi Skilled Operator

About Our Client

We are looking for an experienced Quarry Worker / Multi Skilled Operator to join our clients team in Googong. This is an ideal opportunity for a mechanically minded operator with previous quarry, construction or similar industry experience who takes safety seriously and is comfortable working across a range of site activities.

What You Will Be Doing

• Conducting daily pre-start inspections on HME plant and equipment
• Identifying and reporting machine faults and maintenance issues
• General quarry labouring, including hosing and shovelling
• Operating front-end loaders
• Operating dump trucks and watercarts
• Excavator operation
• Supporting general quarry activities as required
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment

What You Will Need

• Previous quarry or similar industry experience
• Experience operating front-end loaders
• Dump truck, watercart and excavator experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Safety-focused approach to work
• Ability to work across all facets of quarry operations
• Flexibility to work overtime when required
