A Bayswater-based client is seeking a Goods Inwards/Stores Person to join the Warehouse Receiving and Dispatch team. You will manage receipting of all incoming goods into stores and perform stock control using in-house computer systems, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory accuracy.

Key duties include goods inwards, stock location, issuing shortages receipts, stock counts, liaising with warehouse and office staff, and general picking and packing duties.

Qualifications

• Proven, checkable experience in a similar role.
• Communication, customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Numerate and computer literate in standard IT packages.
• Able to lift up to 15kg if required; fit and punctual.
• Willing to work as part of a team and unsupervised when needed.
• Experience in a similar warehouse position.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm

Person Specification/Job Summary

We are currently recruiting for a Goods Inwards/Stores Person to join us on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing receipting of all incoming goods into stores and other stock control duties, specifically utilizing in-house computer systems for all aspects of inventory control.

Job Duties

You will be responsible for:

• Goods inwards and receipting of stock and control of paperwork associated.
• Location of stock, issuing shortages receipts, stock counts etc.
• Interacting with warehouse and office staff as required
• General picking and packing duties

Skills and Experience

Essential

• Proven, checkable experience in a similar role
• Communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills
• Numerate and computer literate in standard IT packages (purpose of booking in and out etc.)
• Fit and able to lift up to 15kg if required, honest, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
• Be physically fit and highly motivated
• An ability to work unsupervised
• Willing to work within, and be part of a friendly and productive team
• Experience in a similar warehouse position
