Job summary

Just Recruitment in Melbourne is seeking a Store Person with a Forklift Licence and experience in processing inbound and outbound goods. The role offers a stable, permanent position with a reputable employer.

You will operate a forklift, receive goods, check for damage and discrepancies, unload vehicles, process paperwork, label, pack, weigh and seal boxes, and assist with consignor shipments. The job requires physical fitness and adherence to WH&S policies.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is required and valid.
• Experience in despatch operations (inwards/outwards).
• Strong time management and organisational skills.
• Commitment to WH&S policies and procedures.
• Physically able to lift up to 15 kg and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move goods around the warehouse.
• Receive incoming goods, check for damage and discrepancies.
• Unload vehicles and open packages; process paperwork.
• Label, pack, weigh, seal boxes and manage consignor shipments.
• Stock shelves, move goods, and use hydraulic pallet lifters and trolleys.
• Maintain housekeeping and general warehouse duties.

We require Store Person with a Forklift Licence and Experience in processing inwards and outwards goods

The Job:

Operating a forklift

Receiving incoming goods, checking for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices

Unloading vehicles, opening packages, and removing contents

Processing paperwork

Labelling, packing and weighing goods and sealing boxes, including the handling known Consignor shipments as required

Lifting products (up to 15 kg)

Stocking shelves, moving goods around store, stacking bulky goods safely

Use materials handling equipment, such as hydraulic pallet lifters and hand trolleys, to move goods

General warehouse duties including housekeeping and cleaning of the warehouse

Desirable Experience and Skills

High Risk Work Licence (Forklift Licence)

Physically Fit

Experience in despatch operations – inwards and outwards goods

Understanding of safety and strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures

Time management skills and ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines

Working with a highly reputable company
