Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking a Grounds Person to join Marangaroo Golf Course in Western Australia. This hands-on outdoor role focuses on maintaining the course and surrounding gardens to a high standard for golfers every day.

You’ll work with an experienced team across the golf course, performing garden maintenance, assisting with course presentation and upkeep of surrounding green spaces while learning horticulture in a unique golf course environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in golf course maintenance or landscaping preferred.
• Willingness to learn and develop horticultural skills.
• Comfort with physical outdoor work and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day presentation and maintenance of the golf course and gardens.
• Undertake hedging, weeding, pruning, planting, mulching and general garden maintenance.
• Maintain areas around tees, fairways, greens, paths and surrounds.
• Operate hand tools safely (hedgers, blowers and whipper snippers).
• Use petrol-powered equipment under guidance of experienced team members.
• Load and unload plants, materials, machinery and equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Keep course, gardens, work areas, tools and equipment clean, safe and well organised.
• Follow all safety procedures and work as part of a team to maintain high course presentation.
