Job summary

Green by Nature is seeking a Grounds Person to support turf and garden maintenance across a premium racecourse site. The role requires physical stamina, accuracy, and willingness to work outdoors in all weather.

You will join a dedicated team dedicated to maintaining exceptional green spaces and delivering high-quality horticultural outcomes. Ideal candidates will have landscaping or gardening experience, a valid manual driver's licence, and a White Card.

Qualifications

• Previous landscaping, gardening, or related field experience.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic and ability to complete tasks efficiently.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team.
• Valid manual drivers licence.
• White card.

Responsibilities

• Assist with turf and garden maintenance tasks for a premium racecourse site.
• Operate hand tools and power equipment safely under guidance.
• Load and unload materials, plants and equipment from trucks and trailers.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, tools, and equipment.
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
• Operate on a schedule of 20 weekend race meetings per year with some overtime on weekdays.
