Job summary

Pelican Waters Golf Club, part of Palm Lake Group, is seeking an Operations Administrator to oversee daily operations of the Golf Clubhouse, supporting admin, scheduling, and operational tasks across golf and hospitality. This full-time role, primarily Monday to Friday with occasional weekend shifts, focuses on memberships, bookings, reports, and process improvements to enhance guest experience.

Candidates should have admin experience in hospitality or golf, be proficient with MS Office, and

Qualifications

• Proven experience in administration, ideally within hospitality, leisure, finance or golf industries.
• Strong computer literacy across MS Suite with intermediate MS Excel knowledge.
• Experience with MiMembership/MiClub software will be highly regarded.
• Ability to work within a team, collaborate and take direction as well as work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Administration & management of Golf Memberships via MiMembership system.
• Assist with purchase orders, invoicing, reconciliation and basic financial reporting.
• Assist with staff management, including recruitment, onboarding & rostering.
• Maintain accurate records, financial reports, and compliance documentation.
• Assist with bookings, event coordination, and scheduling systems.
• Update daily, weekly & monthly operational reports.
• Prepare and distribute internal communications, calendars/schedules, events/daily/weekly run sheets.
• Maintain inventory & stocktake for golf and hospitality supplies.
• Monitor equipment and facility maintenance schedules & coordinate with appropriate departments.
• Maintain and update daily operations logs for golf course conditions, staffing, promotion periods and special events.
• Assist operations staff with hosting, answering phones & directing guests during busy periods.
• Point of contact for residents and guests for event bookings, account inquiries etc.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of operational processes and standards.
