Job summary

Golf Services Management Pty is seeking casual Golf & Hospitality Team Members for the busy summer period at St Andrews Beach Golf Course and Bay Views Golf Course on the Mornington Peninsula.

You will work across Golf Operations, Retail and Food & Beverage to deliver a first-class customer experience in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment. RSA certification is mandatory, with training provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of golf or hospitality operations preferred; training provided.
• RSA certificate is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Manage golf operations administration and customer service.
• Open/close the Operations Centre and perform light housekeeping.
• Front counter service and tee sheet/time sheet management.
• Coordinate golf activity including 1st tee, course marshalling, cart fleet.
• Implement and support operational policies and procedures.
• Manage customer payments and future tee bookings/payments.
• Oversee competition administration and group bookings.
• Assist in delivering a consistent, first-class facility experience.
• Sell golf merchandise and maintain the retail space.

Golf Services Management is looking to hire casual staff for the busy summer period at St Andrews Beach Golf Course and Bay Views Golf Course, both on the Mornington Peninsula.

Golf Services Management is looking to hire casual staff for the busy summer period at St Andrews Beach Golf Course and Bay Views Golf Course, both on the Mornington Peninsula.

The Roles

As a Golf & Hospitality Team Member, you will play a key role in delivering a first-class customer experience across Golf Operations, Retail, and Food & Beverage. This is a varied, hands-on role suited to motivated individuals who enjoy working in a customer-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

Golf Operations

• Golf operations administration and customer service
• Opening and closing the Operations Centre, including minor housekeeping
• Front counter service and tee sheet / time sheet management
• Coordination of golf activity including:
  • 1st tee control
  • Course marshalling
  • Cart fleet management
• Implementing and supporting operational policies and procedures
• Managing customer payments
• Managing future tee bookings and payments
• Competition administration and management
• Managing group bookings (social and corporate)
• Assisting in delivering a consistent, first-class facility experience

Retail

• Selling golf merchandise
• Presenting the retail space in a clean and professional manner
• Assisting with stock control and ordering

Food & Beverage

• Front of house service including orders, delivery, bar, and barista duties
• Minor housekeeping duties
• Assisting back of house team as required
• Assisting with stock control and ordering

About You

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be an integral member of the customer-facing team. You will be:

• Highly motivated with a strong customer service focus
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary role
• Willing to learn and follow policies and procedures

Knowledge of golf and experience in food & beverage service is preferred; however, training will be provided to the right candidate who demonstrates commitment and a positive attitude.

A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is a mandatory requirement.

Employment Details

• Casual position
• Hours primarily available on peak trading days: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, ranging from dawn to dusk
