Job summary

Ora Banda Mining is seeking a Process Plant Trainer to lead training for new and existing staff across all stages of gold processing. The role involves safe operation, toolbox meetings, and development of training materials on site.

You will coordinate inductions, manage records, and liaise with training providers to ensure compliant, effective programs. FIFO from Perth or Kalgoorlie supports site-based operations.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as a Process Plant Trainer (gold experience preferred).
• Competent process operator across all gold processing stages.
• Experience with training management software such as InTuition.
• Proven ability to manage training contractors and employees.
• Strong computer skills and a valid C-class driver’s license.
• Certificate IV Training & Assessment (TAE) required.

Responsibilities

• Train new and current personnel in processing plant operations.
• Ensure safe completion of activities in the processing area per safety system and training processes.
• Attend toolbox meetings on site.
• Develop and implement safe work procedures for process plant activities.
• Coordinate induction training and required driver authorisations on site.
• Develop training packages and maintain a training records database.
• Maintain relationships with third‑party training providers.
