Moderna Therapeutics in Melbourne operates a GMP manufacturing facility focused on mRNA-based products. The role is a hands-on maintenance specialist responsible for reliability, troubleshooting, and CAPA-driven improvements across GMP equipment, reporting to the Plant Engineering Manager.

You will work with engineering, manufacturing and external service providers to ensure safe, compliant 24/7 operations, support digital maintenance tools and develop training of colleagues on maintenance

Competenze

Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) is preferred.
Trade qualification – Certificate 3 is preferred.
3–5 years in a regulated (cGMP) environment is desirable.
Experience in sterile manufacturing is highly desirable.
Hands-on experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
Understanding of automated process equipment, PLC controls, and related systems.

Mansioni

Perform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance on GMP and non-GMP equipment.
Lead troubleshooting and equipment recovery with engineers and vendors.
Provide SME guidance on autoclaves, washers, filling lines, isolators and related systems.
Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs).
Prepare and maintain accurate cGMP maintenance records.
Coordinate external contractors ensuring safety and quality standards.
