Job summary

Moderna Manufacturing Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a hands-on Process Technician - Electrical to safeguard electrical integrity and reliability at our Melbourne GMP facility. You will lead maintenance, coordinate CMMS work orders and supervise troubleshooting across GMP and non-GMP systems.

Reporting to the Plant Engineering Manager, you will apply PLC/SCADA knowledge, drive continuous improvement, and ensure regulatory compliance with TGA/FDA/EMA standards in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience in GMP manufacturing environment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and incident response mindset.
• Familiar with CMMS work order management and scheduling.
• Understanding of regulatory requirements (FDA/EMA/cGMP).
• Experience with instrumentation and control systems.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of electrical maintenance across GMP/non-GMP equipment.
• Coordinate work orders in CMMS and supervise scheduling.
• Lead electrical troubleshooting and coordinate service providers.
• Provide technical leadership on electrical supply, sensors and drives.
• Support installation, start-up and validation of new electrical systems.
• Contribute to reliability improvements and CAPA activities.
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, QMS and regulatory standards.
