Job summary

Australian Red Cross Lifeblood is seeking an S&T Scientist to join the Scientific & Technical Services team at the Brisbane Processing Centre. The role delivers scientific services, problem solving, and technical know-how to enable production outcomes and support both internal and external customers.

You will provide advice on investigations, manage test anomalies, and support local and national projects. A Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science or AIMS registration is required, with

• Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science or registration with AIMS.
• Experience with lean manufacturing processes.
• Experience in GMP/GLP/NPAAC regulated production environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific services, support and problem solving to enable delivery of production outcomes.
• Support the Manufacturing & Logistics teams with scientific expertise and technical know-how.
• Investigate and manage test anomalies, equipment faults and deviations.
• Assist with implementation of local and national projects linking project teams with regional production.
