Job summary

Australian Red Cross Lifeblood in Brisbane is seeking an S&TS Scientist to join the Brisbane Processing Centre. The role provides scientific services and problem solving to enable production outcomes, across Manufacturing & Logistics, with on-site work and potential rostered hours from 6am–6pm.

Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science or AIMS registration, lean manufacturing experience, and GMP/GLP and NPAAC familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science or registration with AIMS for internationally qualified applicants.
• Experience with lean manufacturing processes.
• Experience in a regulated production environment with GMP/GLP and NPAAC guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific services, support and problem solving to the regional manufacturing team.
• Deliver scientific expertise, technical know-how and high customer service to meet production goals.
• Investigate test anomalies and equipment faults; manage deviations outside standard procedures.
• Assist in implementing local and national projects, linking project teams with regional production teams.
