Job summary

Australian Biotechnologies in Sydney's Frenchs Forest, NSW, is seeking a Production Technician to join our GMP manufacturing team. You'll be involved in the preparation, processing, packaging and distribution of allograft tissue products, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Based in a highly regulated cleanroom, this role suits someone with a science or biotechnology background who enjoys hands-on work and thrives on accuracy, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in Science, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, Medical Science, Pathology, Laboratory Technology or related discipline.
• Experience working in a laboratory, healthcare, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, tissue banking, medical device or GMP-controlled manufacturing environment.
• Experience with aseptic techniques, sterile handling, cleanroom operations, sample preparation or controlled manufacturing processes.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures and quality systems.
• Hands-on approach and a genuine commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing and processing human tissue grafts in accordance with GMP, regulatory and quality requirements
• Performing aseptic tissue preparation, processing, packaging, labelling and storage activities
• Following approved procedures to maintain product integrity, traceability and compliance
• Operating and maintaining specialised laboratory and production equipment
• Completing batch records and quality documentation accurately and efficiently
• Supporting environmental monitoring, contamination control and cleanroom activities
• Managing tissue, consumables and production inventory throughout the manufacturing process
