Job summary
Programmed Maintenance Services – Banksmeadow NSW is seeking an experienced GMP Fitter for day shift (7am-3:30pm). The role involves mechanical installation and repairs on a range of plant and equipment to ensure reliability and minimal downtime.
You will perform preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance, including modification, commissioning, testing and fault finding. Onsite parking and competitive pay are offered.
Qualifications
- Cert 3 in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or Certificate of Proficiency in Fitting & Machining (Australian Recognised).
- Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.
- Pre-employment medical checks: Drug & Alcohol, Functional/Fit test; Spiro & Audio.

To be successful in this role the following qualification, licenses, skills and experience is required:
- Cert 3 in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or Certificate of Proficiency in Fitting & Machining (Australian Recognised)
- Perform Mechanical installation and repairs

- Modification, commissioning, testing, fault finding and diagnostic
- Attend breakdowns to all plant and equipment
- Previous exp in Fluid power and pneumatics (desirable)
- Complete a pre-employment medical check: Drug & Alcohol, Functional/Fit test; Spiro & Audio
