Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services – Banksmeadow NSW is seeking experienced Fitters with Confined Space tickets for shutdown work. Monday to Friday day shift, with potential overtime. You will perform mechanical installation, maintenance and fault diagnostics on plant and equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The role emphasizes strong teamwork, clear communication and reliable problem-solving skills in a reputable company with onsite parking.

Qualifications

• Cert 3 in Engineering - Mechanical Trade or Certificate of Proficiency in Fitting & Machining.
• Perform mechanical installation and repairs.
• Preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance.
• Modification, commissioning, testing, fault finding and diagnostic.
• Attend breakdowns to all plant and equipment.
• Demonstrated commitment to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installation and repairs on site.
• Carry out preventative, predictive and corrective maintenance.
• Handle modification, commissioning, testing and fault diagnostics.
• Respond to breakdowns across all plant and equipment.
• Work to HSEQ standards; maintain safe operating practices.
• Communicate effectively and work as part of a team.
