Job summary

CBRE GWS Local is seeking a general handyperson to provide reliable maintenance support to a pharmaceutical client in North Melbourne. You will perform general building maintenance, basic carpentry, painting, and reactive fault response while coordinating with site stakeholders.

The role emphasizes safety, working within GMP/compliant environments, and a stable 38-hour week with some flexibility. Training and career pathways are available within CBRE facilities and real estate careers.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or demonstrated maintenance/handyman experience.
• Experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, GMP, manufacturing, or similar) will be highly regarded.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• White Card and valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• General building maintenance and repairs.
• Basic carpentry, painting, patching, and handyman works.
• Reactive maintenance and fault response.
• Assisting with planned maintenance activities.
• Liaising with site stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures.
