Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking an on-site maintenance professional in Melbourne to perform general building maintenance, basic carpentry, painting, patching and handyman tasks. You will respond to reactive faults and assist with planned activities, liaising with stakeholders and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely.

The role requires a trade qualification or demonstrable handyman experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification or handyman experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Experience in a regulated environment (pharmaceutical, GMP, manufacturing, or similar) will be highly regarded.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• White Card and valid driver’s licence.
• Working at height, EWP.

Responsibilities

• General building maintenance and repairs.
• Basic carpentry, painting, patching, and handyman works.
• Reactive maintenance and fault response.
• Assisting with planned maintenance activities.
• Liaising with site stakeholders and subcontractors.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in accordance with site procedures.
