Job summary

Churches of Christ in Queensland seeks a General Manager People & Culture to shape how we attract, develop, support and retain our people while leading the next phase of workforce capability, technology and organisational uplift.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this senior role leads Human Resources, Employee & Industrial Relations, Health, Safety & Wellbeing, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Capability, Learning & Development, Culture and Workforce Compliance.

Qualifications

• Broad HR leadership experience across HR, ER/IR, Talent, and WHS.
• Proven ability to lead capability-building, safety improvements and organisational change.
• Strong stakeholder management and collaboration with executive teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR, Employee & Industrial Relations, Health, Safety & Wellbeing, Talent Acquisition, Workforce Capability, Learning & Development and Culture.
• Oversee governance and compliance across the workforce.
• Drive Enterprise Agreement negotiations and HRIS implementations.
