Job summary

Hastings People is seeking a General Manager for a Luxury Private Members Club in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs. The role focuses on opening leadership, member experience and capitalising on community and services across wellness, fitness, hospitality and events.

You will oversee a multidisciplinary operation, drive engagement, and build a culture of exceptional service with a highly personalised approach for a discerning member base.

Qualifications

• Significant senior leadership experience within luxury hospitality, private membership or premium lifestyle environments.
• Proven ability to manage complex operations across multiple departments and revenue streams.
• Strong P&L, budgeting, forecasting and labour management capabilities.
• Exceptional relationship-building and a highly personalised member experience.
• Genuine interest in fitness, wellness, hospitality and contemporary lifestyle trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead all facets of club operations across membership, hospitality, fitness and wellness.
• Drive growth, retention and engagement through personalised member experiences.
• Oversee commercial performance, budgets, forecasting and labour management.
• Build and develop a high-performing leadership team and culture of service.
• Design member programming and events to strengthen community and visitation.
