Job summary

Wood is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to lead a deployed project team in Brisbane, overseeing materials management, warehousing, procurement, subcontracts, expediting and reporting. The role emphasizes leadership across multiple sites and alignment with project teams in Asia and Australia.

The ideal candidate brings extensive buying & procurement experience within large EPC projects, strong negotiation skills, and proficiency with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years’ experience in related buying & procurement positions for large EPC projects in oil & gas.
• Detailed knowledge of suppliers, commercial evaluations, negotiations, and terms & conditions of purchase.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Procurement & Subcontract Specialists, Expeditors & Material Controllers.
• Interface with Project teams across Brisbane, Manila, India & Asia to align resources.
• Oversee negotiations with Asia & international suppliers and fabricators.
• Develop Project Procurement Plans and bidder lists; source strategies per client requirements.
• Ensure procurement activities follow the project plan and contracting strategy.
• Provide procurement support to projects with on-schedule material expediting and cost control.
