Wood is seeking a hands-on Senior Project Manager in Melbourne to lead onshore energy and chemical projects from FEED through EPC, including subcontractor oversight. You will drive delivery, manage safety and foster strong client relationships across the Wood team and client organisation.

The role demands senior leadership of multi‑discipline teams, effective communication, and a commitment to project excellence and zero-harm delivery. Candidates must have full work rights in Australia.

Qualifications

• Senior Project Manager leading multidiscipline teams on Oil & Gas and Chemical Proposals, FEEDs and EPC onshore.
• Experience in chemical plant infrastructure development (brownfield and greenfield).
• Ability to develop design/implementation schedules and provide ongoing status reports.
• Strong safety commitment and exceptional stakeholder management and communication.

Responsabilités

• Pro-actively build client and Wood team relationships with trust and open communication.
• Be responsible for financial and technical success of the project and contract.
• Lead estimating proposals through to delivery onshore projects.
• Oversee sub-contractor integration and performance management.
