FLSmidth is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee planning, execution, and closing of projects across Australia and potentially Southeast Asia. The role ensures on-time delivery within scope and budget while meeting client expectations and company standards.

Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5–10 years of PM experience in heavy industry. Strong leadership, communication, and fluency in English are essential; international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 5–10 years of project management experience in heavy machinery/mining/industrial sectors preferred.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP/PRINCE2 a plus).
• Excellent leadership and communication skills; able to operate in multi-cultural environments.

Responsabilités

• Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including planning and risk management.
• Define scope, goals and deliverables with management and stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules and budgets.
• Monitor progress, address deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage internal and external project teams, including contractors, across regions.
• Communicate updates and reports to domestic and international stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues; escalate as needed.
• Ensure adherence to project management methodologies, quality standards, and safety.
