Job summary

FLSmidth in Welshpool, Western Australia, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution and closing of projects across Australia and potentially Southeast Asia, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.

You will lead international project teams, manage budgets and risks, and report to senior management while maintaining safety and quality standards. A engineering degree and 5–10 years of PM experience are required, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Process/Mechanical/Electrical) or related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in project management in heavy machinery, mining, or industrial sectors.
• Proven track record delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage full project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Define scope, goals, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate international project teams and communicate with stakeholders.
