Job summary

CMC Markets is seeking a detail-oriented Custodial Operations Executive to join our Post Trade Operations team on a 6-month maximum-term contract. You will support international settlements and custody operations, ensuring accurate processing of client transactions and efficient handling of corporate actions.

You’ll bring stockbroking experience and a solid understanding of cross-border settlement processes, ASX/CHESS rules, and GBST Shares.

Qualifications

• Previous stockbroking experience, particularly in equity processing and post-trade operations.
• Knowledge of international share trading and settlement processes.
• Sound understanding of ASX rules, CHESS workflows and compliance requirements.
• Experience with GBST Shares, international custody arrangements or corporate actions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support daily operations of international settlements and custody function.
• Process international equity transactions, manage custody holdings and reconciliations.
• Assist with corporate actions to ensure accurate and timely client outcomes.
