Job summary

TJX Australia (TK Maxx) in Mascot is seeking an experienced International Logistics Manager (Ocean Freight) to lead our ocean freight operations, ensuring smooth inbound movement from global vendors to our Processing Centre.

You will manage ocean carriers, NVOCCs and freight forwarders, drive cost performance and service standards, and partner with Buying, Planning and cross-functional teams to optimise inventory flow.

Qualifications

• Leadership of logistics or supply chain teams with direct ocean carrier partnerships.
• Strong knowledge of international ocean freight operations and capacity management.
• Proven track record of influencing stakeholders and building partnerships.
• Ability to analyze market intelligence to assess supply chain impacts.

Responsibilities

• Lead the International Logistics Operations - Ocean team, ensuring the efficient movement of inventory from overseas vendors to our Processing Centre.
• Manage direct ocean carrier, NVOCC and freight forwarding partnerships to achieve service, compliance, cost and performance objectives.
• Partner with Buying, Planning and cross-functional teams to support inventory flow and business priorities.
• Monitor global ocean freight market conditions, carrier performance, capacity trends and industry developments, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery, operational efficiency and cost outcomes.
• Deliver against operational KPIs and service standards.
• Build strong partnerships with internal stakeholders and external logistics providers.
