Job summary

Cochlear in Sydney seeks a Manager Global Market Access – Commercial Access to shape reimbursement strategies across international markets. You will lead market access workstreams, assess payer environments, and develop payer-facing tools to support launch planning and access activities.

Qualifications

Essential: 5+ years’ experience in market access roles within medtech or pharmaceutical sectors.
Essential: At least 2 years’ experience in a global market access environment.
Essential: Strong understanding of payer systems, reimbursement pathways, coding requirements and funding models.
Essential: Experience conducting market access assessments, payer research and reimbursement feasibility analyses.
Essential: Proven ability to translate market access insights into practical commercial recommendations.
Essential: Experience working within complex global matrix organisations.
Essential: Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

Lead defined market access workstreams and contribute to launch readiness and market adoption.
Evaluate reimbursement environments, funding routes and coding considerations for Cochlear solutions.
Develop payer-facing materials and tools for regional and country teams to support access activities.
Collaborate with Commercial, Regional, Clinical and Market Development teams to reflect access considerations in launch planning.
