Job summary

Treasury Wine Estates is seeking a strategic innovation leader to set the global product innovation direction and align senior leaders across brands and regions. You will drive a high-value pipeline and shape portfolio priorities to deliver sustainable growth, balancing breakthrough opportunities with commercial discipline.

You will influence executive stakeholders, enable cross-functional teams, and continuously strengthen governance to sharpen decisions and maintain portfolio focus.

About the role

Set the strategic direction for innovation at Treasury Wine Estates and shape its contribution to long-term growth. Reporting to the Chief Marketing & Innovation Officer, you will lead the global product innovation agenda, align senior leaders around the most compelling opportunities and guide portfolio and investment priorities across brands and regions. Your impact will come through clear strategic choices, executive influence and enabling teams to deliver against a shared innovation ambition.

Define and lead TWE’s global product innovation strategy, setting a clear ambition and priorities for growth

Shape and govern a high-value innovation pipeline across brands and regions, balancing breakthrough opportunities with commercial discipline.

Influence senior leaders on innovation priorities and investment choices, aligning the organisation around opportunities with enterprise-wide impact and commercial results.

Continuously strengthen innovation governance, including ongoing optimisation of the stage-gate process to sharpen decisions, prioritise resources and maintain portfolio focus

About you

You are a strategic innovation leader who translates consumer, market and business insights into a compelling growth agenda. You combine long-term vision with commercial judgement, make clear portfolio choices and build alignment across executive and cross-functional stakeholders. You lead through influence, enabling teams to turn strategic ambition into commercial impact.

• Extensive experience setting strategic direction for innovation, marketing or growth portfolios
• Strong commercial acumen, with the ability to prioritise investment and balance opportunities across a portfolio
• Proven ability to influence executive stakeholders and align cross-functional teams around shared growth priorities
• Experience shaping growth through new products, propositions or ventures and enabling teams to scale opportunities
• An insights-driven strategic thinker with a passion for consumer-led innovation and long-term growth
