Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an Incident Management Engineer (Spanish/English bilingual) to join the Incident Detection and Response team. This global role focuses on communicating emergency responses and coordinating technical resolver engagement during critical incidents for AWS customers in Sydney.

Core hours are 9am–5pm AEST with some weekend and public holiday shifts. The role requires leadership presence, strong analytical skills, and a passion for delivering world‑class customer

Qualifications

• Experience in leading incident response for enterprise customers.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across all levels of an organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive the resolution of large scale customer‑impacting incidents as part of a rotation.</br>Provide incident response and account ownership for critical workloads.
• Develop runbooks and response plans tailored to each workload and onboarded service.
