Job summary

G-P is seeking an HR Specialist in the Employer of Record space to partner with clients across ANZ, owning the full employee lifecycle, in-country HR expertise, compliance, and growth.

In this 1-year fixed-term contract to cover maternity leave, you will manage onboarding, lifecycle events, terminations, complex employee relations, immigration, and payroll partnerships, while leveraging HRIS and collaboration tools to keep operations efficient.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of Australian employment legislation including Fair Work compliance.
• Experience handling complex employee relations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Onboarding, lifecycle events, and terminations across Australia, with support for NZ/APAC as needed.
• Manage sensitive employee relations cases and draft compliant documentation.
• Build and manage relationships with payroll providers, benefits brokers, and HR legal advisors.
• Serve as the first point of contact for client queries on benefits, compliance, and workforce planning.
• Stay ahead of labour laws and cultural nuances in ANZ to provide actionable guidance.
• Review and advise on employment contracts and risk mitigation.
• Guide clients through Performance Improvement Plans and salary changes.
• Collaborate with Global Mobility for immigration/mobility needs.
• Drive automation and AI adoption to streamline HR processes.
